How do I make a flash animated short?

Okay, so I've been thinking about this for a while. I've found a flash program on sellfolio and I've heard good things about it.


How do I make a flash on a dell computor? Any tips are much needed! First time using flash...duh.How do I make a flash animated short?
Like with most art forms, it's very difficult for a beginner to create a complete work without lots of steps to the finish.





First step is to come up with a story - it's very difficult to make a story as you go, so make sure you know the main events and what major drawings and animations you'll have to do.





After you know the story, you can start to make it in Flash...





One resource I use for flash tutorials is http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash/in鈥?/a> - there, you can learn how to draw in Flash, how to animate, how to group movie clips together and how to import graphics from other programs.





Once you learn those basics, you'll be able to put everything together into a short :)
