Its a kodak easy share and the flash was set. I took it to radio shack and they said the light burnt out but they cant fix it. (he didnt even really look at it.) What could be wrong? Where else could I take it? im pretty sure I have the flash set right. I had the camera for a while but just incase, whats it suppose to be set toMy flash isnt working on my digital camera. What could be some reasons as to why?
I wouldn't listen to anyone at Radio Shack. If you ask me that's like the lowest of low of electronic stores. It's kind of like you really want a good barbecue burger but then you just end up going to McDonalds where they find it hard to center an effin piece of cheese. I'd take it to a wolf or ritz camera someone who specializes in camera's and get their opinion maybe even the place you bought it can give you more info or trying to go to Kodak's website. That's what I did for my Sony.My flash isnt working on my digital camera. What could be some reasons as to why?
Is there a reason why you don't believe the Radio Shack person? That place is usually full of pretty knowledgable geeky types.
Maybe he seemed to not really look at it because it was so obvious to him that the light burnt out and they can't fix it.
If it's a Kodak camera, check your warranty because you may be able to send it to Kodak directly, or at least to an officially approved place nearby, and get it fixed for free.
Failing that, just bring it to any other store that sells a lot of cameras like Best Buy or whatever chain is popular in your area. If they say that the light's burnt, then you've got two places telling you that.
What about checking the owner's manual? Maybe there's a troubleshooting section on the flash.
Who knows? Maybe the batteries are just low.
