Why will Flash Player not install on my new computer?

I have Vista Home Premium and Internet Explorer 8 as well as AVAST and Superantispyware. No matter what I do, Flash Player will not install --- I have followed the advice given in Yahoo Answers but to no avail --- could IE8 be the problem? Why will Flash Player not install on my new computer?
Well IE compared to other browsers is not the best! You should download Google Chrome http://www.google.co.uk/chrome/ Very fast, much faster than IE and the newest version of Firefox. Download, install it and then try install Flash. Why will Flash Player not install on my new computer?
This is what I did several months ago.

Get rid of IE8 and go back to IE7 for 90% of browser stuff.

Download Firefox and have it as the default browser for a while.

Then download and install the Adobe Flash Player.

It should work. If not, remove all your antispywares but one. Then download. After success, you can revert back to whatever browser suits you, but not IE8.
Vista has something called ';User Account Control'; AKA ';Useless Account Control';.

Try downloading the installer, right click it and then select ';Run as Administrator';. I'm not sure if that'll fix this for you, but it's fixed lots of things for me.

Then go to the Control Panel and switch UAC off - it's as useful as a pork-pie at a bar-mitzvah!

PS. There's nothing wrong with IE8 [referring to other comments], but Firefox is better if you take the trouble to select some good add-ons.
Install Firefox or Avant browser.

Your problem is to do with IE8. IE8 is full of problems. You can uninstall IE8 and go back to the 7 version.
